GLADEL, through some of its representatives, is part of several international research organizations widely recognized in the world of lupus. Examples of this are the presence of GLADEL members in the SLICC Group (Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics), Lupus Academy (an independent medical education initiative led by a group of globally-recognized experts in lupus) and in DORIS (group of researchers working in the "Definition of Remission in SLE").
