Let's Talk About Lupus (Hablemos de Lupus/Falando de Lúpus) is an educational initiative for Latin American people, who have different types of lupus. Let’s Talk About Lupus compiles information on topics and frequently asked questions selected by patients from Latin American countries.
The program is led by Dr. Cristina Drenkard, Associate Professor at the Emory University School of Medicine and by Dr. Bernardo Pons-Estel, Rheumatologist, Coordinator of the Latin American Group for the Study of Lupus (GLADEL).
Let’s Talk About Lupus is the joint effort of GLADEL, lupus experts, health professionals, educators and communicators, leaders of lupus patient groups, and lupus patients from all over Latin America.
Let's Talk about Lupus has received funding from ILAR (International League of Rheumatology Associations), PANLAR (Pan-American League of Rheumatology Associations), and Glaxo Smith Kline.
